Men's Fellowship

The focus of the men’s ministry is to give men the guidance and help they need in order to become what God has called them to be as men in the Church the home and at work.

We seek to empower the men in our ministry to be good fathers, husbands and sons in a society that tells teaches them otherwise. We believe that it is important that men understand that Church is not just for their wives and mothers but that God has called them too to be a part of the body of Christ.

 Women's Fellowhip

The purpose of the women’s ministry is to act as a support system for all women in the church and create a warm welcoming environment where they feel free to come and fellowship with other women in the Church.

In the women’s ministry we feel that it is paramount that women find their place in Gods house and play a part in what goes on. We are here to help all women to become better wives, mothers, sisters and daughters. It is important that women know their worth and that they are empowered to do the work that God has sent them to do in His house and as individuals.

Children Ministry

Let the children come unto me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverb 22:6

It is our desire to bring children to Jesus. We desire to do all that we can to create and maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere in which to teach our children God’s love and care for them. Our goal is to model Christ-likeness to our children. Because we recognize that we are a reflection of God’s love to those in our care

’It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and shanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD’’; (2Chronicles’’5:12-14)

Worship is an essential part of the Christian Faith and one of the ways in which we love to worship God is through music. Music is also a strong evangelical tool with which the lost can be called to the feet of Jesus.

The RCCG Saints in Light Assembly choir is filled with dedicated members who are passionate about praising and worshipping God with the beautiful voices and instruments that God has given us. The choir meets for rehearsals and learn songs that we minister to the congregation to encourage them in their walk with Christ and lift up the name of the Lord.

You are invited to come and participate in the worship and praise of our God. Being a part of this department requires talent, dedication, commitment and love for music. The choir is always growing and welcomes new members.

The ushers have the responsibility of welcoming members of the congregation into the house in a warm a loving way so they feel at home in our church. The ushers are ever ready to assist the Pastor and other ministers in the house.

Ushers are expected to be punctual alert during meetings as well pertaining to emergency matters.

The ministry’s desire is to bring order to the house of God and serve church members and the Pastor in any way we can to ensure the smooth running of church meetings.
